It seems a new movement is going to herald from ‘Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna’ – Rs.30 crores project (estimated by the first print) in Kannada cinema industry.

The plea will be made for holiday of Kannada film release for three weeks and non Kannada films for two weeks when ‘Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna’ is released in the last week of September 2012 – in this plea to KFCC, KFPA and Non Kannada films will also be requested to stall any non Kannada releases for two weeks.

The issue is at the discussion level as of now. Director Naganna, Producer Anand Appugol are still at the discussion level for creating this type of trend for Rs.30 crore investment made on the historical Indian film to be precise.

The good minds are working behind this new thought. The cooperation extended by concerned would enable a humble producer Anand Appugol to recover his investment.

Another source says the plea will be release of ‘Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna’ in all 850 theatres in Karnataka would be appropriate.

When ‘Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna’ gets this type of support others to take up over Rs.20 crores project on historical and mythological is possible to think.

Meanwhile noted distributor HD Gangaraju has taken the distribution of ‘Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna’ for release. V Harikrishna has done the re-recording for this film in 25 days time. At Manjari Studio of Special effects Rajan the effects are mixed for the film.

Challenging star Darshan plays the title role. Dr Jayaprada is Kittur Rani Chennamma, 35 top actors of Kannada cinema have acted in this KVSR. Yashovardhan is music director and Ramesh Babu is cameraman.
